JOB SUMMARY:
The US Sales Analyst role will drive sales performance throughout the US sales organization by helping to standardize and improve the use of sales processes, tools and data with the goal of increasing efficiency, providing insights and professionalism within the sales organization. We are seeking a talented Sales Analyst to join our team and contribute to our success by leveraging data-driven insights to optimize our sales processes and drive new customer growth. This position reports to VP Sales with regular interfaces between stakeholder functions such as Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operations. This position is located and will work at a Mondi US office and may have occasional travel to manufacturing sites across the US.
YOUR MISSION:
- Reporting of sales, market and industry association (PSSMA) data.
- Understand the competitive landscape and customer preferences within market research.
- Identify trends, patterns, and growth opportunities through sales data analysis.
- Reporting monthly sales gains and losses and managing “reasons” for such gains and losses.
- Support of sales team with Mondi sales excellence tools (i.e. CRM, SAC).
- Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards and reports. Collaborate with the sales team to improve CRM systems and processes.
- Implement CRM best practices, training and support for sales team. Ensure accurate and timely data entry and management within the CRM.
- Support the sales pipeline being filled according to targets and ensure good quality prospective customers.
- Assist in developing and managing the sales budget. Monitor budget performance and provide insights into resource optimization.
- Maintaining sales data / analytics and their availability for VP Sales US, and Sales Director Mexico.
- Support and provide input to assist with “go to market” sales strategy and prepare Executive Management Presentations.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree
- 1-3 years demonstrated commercial experience (sales, marketing) or consulting background.
- Skilled in analyzing data to create insights and action plans that drive results.
- Demonstrated business acumen and commercial/strategic understanding.
- Competent in commercial tools, processes, strategic synthesis/concepts, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of relevant applications, value chains and factors determining product needs, key buying factors and value drivers.
- Rigorous and highly accountable in daily actions, keeps promises and agreements
- Fluent in English. (Second language considered a plus)
