The Managing Director is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the plant. This role ensures all business goals and objectives are reached by effectively managing staff and establishing and accomplishing business objectives.

- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the plant’s strategic plan aligned with corporate goals
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure continuously developing safety standards to make sure that people come home safe every day. Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and guidelines related to internal processes, sub-/contractors and external partners
- Operational Excellence: Manage all aspects of plant operations including production efficiency, quality control, maintenance, and logistics to ensure timely delivery by using Lean Management, Six Sigma, or 5S
- Financial Oversight: Assume full responsibility for all profit & loss drivers; develop budgets, monitor financial KPIs, and implement cost-saving initiatives and investments to maximize profitability.
- Team Development & Leadership: Lead management and operational teams; foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Market & Customer Focus: Build strong relationships with key clients and understand market trends to tailor product offerings
- Innovation: Develop product portfolio considering profitable growth as well as sustainability targets
- successfully leverage business opportunities, drive process improvements
Leadership Responsibilities
- Coach, guide, and develop direct reports, create meaningful feedback discussions that support and enhance employee success.
- Develop and implement team succession plans, training and development.
- Provide direct leadership of team and drive accountability.
- Drive performance of staff through finding motivating factors, creating inspiration for your team, and providing resources to help them be successful.
- Drive regular strategic communication with your team to create organizational awareness and transparency.

- Successful experience in continuous improvement and optimization efficiency and managing and coordinating a production site and safety organizations strongly preferred.
- Ability to perform smoothly in a complex matrix structure.
- Previous B2B sales experience preferred.
- Dynamic, flexible team player with demonstrated ability to lead others.
- Ability to adapt quickly to challenging situations.
- Excellent communicator, organized in thought and delivery, proven ability to independently develop and drive action plans and projects
- Strong organizational, project management and financial planning skills.
- Ability to drive results through process improvement, strategic planning, and quality management.
- Superb attention to detail, motivation and enthusiasm.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diverse group of individuals at all organization levels.
Languages:
- English and Spanish preferred.
Education: Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in in mechanical/industrial engineering and/or business administration/ economics or other related fields.
- A minimum of 7-10 years solid experience as Operations/Plant/ Production Manager in a comparable fast moving, competitive, cost-driven manufacturing environment, ideally process industry.
- Knowledge of Lean and 6 Sigma and statistical methodologies
- Familiarity with ISO 9001
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
- Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office Suite of programs, Data Warehousing, IT Processes, and IT projects.

Car Allowance: $1500/month
Salary Range: Based on Experience $170,000-$200,000
