YOUR MISSION:

  • Financial Management: Oversee the month-end close process, including estimates, forecasts, actuals, and statistics to ensure timely reporting.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Support the management team by preparing monthly results reports and conducting financial analysis to drive improvements.
  • Budget Management: Manage the Outlook and Budget process, preparing actual vs. budget comparisons to identify variances
  • Cost Accounting: Conduct Cost Center Accounting, analyzing figures to enhance plant performance and profitability.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Lead special projects for management, focusing on margin and cost improvements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Audit Participation: Collaborate in internal and external audits to maintain compliance and data quality.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Secure overall data quality in both financial and operational areas.
  •  Additional Duties: Handle other responsibilities as they arise to support team objectives.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Finance/Accounting within the manufacturing sector.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. CPA designation is a plus.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of general accounting and reporting principles (US GAAP, IFRS).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with a strong focus on Excel; SAP experience is highly preferred.
  • Professional Ethics: Maintain a high standard of ethics and integrity in all dealings.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a positive attitude.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with accountability in analytical assessments while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes with the ability to conduct research, analyze data, and resolve complex problems.
