Material Handler

Your Mission:

• Operations will include the loading and unloading of material in/out of stretch wrap machines, from the production lines, and labeling product in preparation for future shipments
• Storage and material movement methods
• Completion of bill of lading and all other required paper work
• Receive, identify and process items for delivery to various departments  
• Ability to perform the loading of freight using the outbound inspection forms
• Ability to read work instructions to stage a load for shipping
• Operations will require the use of hand and power material handling equipment such as powered industrial trucks, hydraulic chain hoist, battery charger, balers, core cutters, and handheld bander
• Materials used during the operation of duties will include packaging materials, plastic film rolls, inks, and resins 
• Responsible for the proper performance of assignments and the prudent handling of product, tools, and equipment
• Directly works with traffic coordinator and receiving technician

Your Profile

• High school education or equivalent
• Experience in powered industrial equipment
• Experience in material handling required
• Experience in shipping and receiving
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with hand held scan guns
• Attention to detail, safety, and quality 
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
