  • Quality Assurance Lab Technician I

    Your responsibilities

    • Conduct defined testing on production orders, Test Plans and Special Requests.
    • Perform Control Testing for Daily Equipment Validations
    • Report any non-conformances, suspect material, or trends to the appropriate Production Supervisor for immediate investigation and resolution.
    • Put nonconforming product on hold and complete appropriate documentation.
    • Accurately complete data sheets and enter into SPC system looking for trends or OOS data points.
    • Report any issues with equipment, procedures, or test results to appropriate personnel.
    • Conduct lab support functions (shift change tasks, zero checks, cleaning, retains, etc.).

    Our requirements

    • Set priorities and organize workload to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to follow sampling plans, work instructions and other lab protocol without supervision.
    • Interpret test results for conformance to specifications.
    • Conformance to customer requirements and 3rd party standard requirements.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of internal personnel.
    • Excellent organizational and record keeping skills.
    • Capable of working with minimal supervision.

    Education

    • High school education or equivalent.
    • Previous manufacturing experience.

    • Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.
    • Work 12-hour rotating shift with overtime as needed.

  • Machine Operator

    Your responsibilities:

    • Set-up and monitor various computerized machinery to produce plastic film and/or plastic bags in compliance with given specifications
    • Perform operations such as quality control checks of product, maintaining machine settings, loading and unloading rolls of material
    • Troubleshooting of machines
    • May be required to operate a forklift
    • Operations will include the use of small machine tools such as wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, pliers, measuring tools and knives

    Your responsibilities:

    • Perform all functions within Flexo Operations according to established standards
    • Operate all equipment, including, but not limited to, Flexo Press, Plate Mounting, Plate/Anilox Cleaning and other supporting systems
    • To set-up, start-up, run, and trouble shoot Flexo Operations
    • Understand and be in compliance with all Safety, Quality, Productivity, and SOP’s as established by Mondi and our Customers

    Our requirements:

    • Good comprehension of, and the ability to, distinguish printing defects and color variations
    • Possess fundamental leadership skills
    • Operations will include the use of various hand tools and equipment such as scales, micro-meters, mounting, cleaning, and computer operated Flexo Printing Presses.

    Experience:

    • 3-5 Years Flexo Operator Experience

  • PrePress Assistant

    Your responsibilities:

    • Perform all necessary steps to provide presses with related press wagons and parts and helping with press changeovers
    • Loading and unloading all parts and equipment off the wash carts plus dipping and scraping parts in the dip tank
    • Clean press wagons and all associated parts related to the press wagons in addition to ensuring that the press wagons are operational
    • Work with various hand tools & carts
    • Operate and maintain parts wash system and all related equipment plus managing hazardous waste satellite accumulation areas

    Your responsibilities:

    Help or lead the setup of machines for production. This includes the labor of fitting different pieces of tooling throughout the machine and manipulating the machine to produce quality bags.

    Your responsibilities:

    • Make precise adjustments on the machine to maintain the quality production of bags after setup is complete
    • Accurately splice on new rolls of material throughout the duration of a production order
    • Completely prepare tooling for upcoming production orders
