Mission / Summary: Assist the Inline Operator, ensuring bags are produced on time and to customer quality specifications, and organize assigned crew for optimal safety quality and productivity.

JOB FUNCTIONS : Responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to the following:
- Adhere to all safety rules, guidelines, and lockout/tagout procedures for assigned equipment.
- Follow all SQF (Safe Quality Food) policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, housekeeping, personal hygiene, and auditing.
- Review job orders and production specifications to determine required paper or plastic stock for each run.
- Operate an electric hoist to lift, transport, and mount rolls of paper onto production machines safely and efficiently.
- Prepare rolls for production, splice new rolls, assist with threading paper through the machine, and monitor the flow of paper into the machine to ensure consistent operation. Remove used rolls. Label and tag rolls for inventory.
- Assist with machine cleaning and maintenance including the reporting of any maintenance or operational issues immediately to the Inline Operator.
- Follow machine operating procedures under the direction of the Inline Operator.
- Read and interpret production orders and complete all required documentation.
- Learn machine capabilities to confirm the ability to produce specified products per job requirements.
- Assist with product quality checks to ensure bags meet required specifications, making or supporting adjustments as directed.
- Support troubleshooting and minor repair activities to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
EDUCATION
