Eastman - Clamp Truck Driver

Your Mission :

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures as required.
• Operates forklift, clamp truck and reach truck safely (including charging and maintenance of propane and batteries) Performance of daily PM checklist.
• Be able to complete Clamp Truck Driver checklist.
• Operate pallet inverter, automatic palletizer safely. Check inventory, locations, WIP and production schedule to accurately retrieve material from the job packet pick lists.
• Must know paperwork documentation procedures for movement of materials and be able to complete efficiently and accurately
• Work with other material handlers, operators and assistants to keep production areas serviced
• Assist less experienced material handlers when necessar
• Work toward and maintain an accurate orderly inventory by placing product in proper place
• Work in safe manner and assure co-workers work in safe manne
• Help with general housekeeping
• Perform other duties as assigned

Your Profile:

• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Minimum of a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Work schedules are normally 8 or 12 hours
• May be scheduled for rotating days off
• Must be able to work any scheduled times, including overnight and weekend shifts
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, including extra hours on short notice
• Standing for extended periods
• Must be able to complete assigned task during shift and meet reasonable expectations
• Awkward and/or repetitive movements
• Climbing ladders and/or stairways
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly and up to 50 lbs. frequently for up to 12 hours
• Reading computer screen or other electronic devices
• Use of various hand and electrical tools and equipment
• Work in areas of fluctuating temperature
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (including but not limited to steel toe shoes, earplugs, safety glasses, and hairnet)
• Ability to use hand truck, drum dolly, and electric pallet jack as needed
• Regularly works near moving mechanical parts
